Masala Craft … where success goes hand in hand with celebrating great food!
The family owned restaurant is run by Atul Khore and his wife Madhavi. Atul has been a chef for over 19 years, working in some of the finest 5 star restaurants across India, Dubai and Australia.
A few years back, he saw a gap in the market for authentic Indian cuisine and chose to embark on a journey to change that.
Combining his knowledge and culinary experience of street food delicacies, Indo-Chinese fusion and northern and southern Indian food, Atul created an extensive menu with an incomparable eye for detail. Masala Craft opened its doors in 2008 and has been delivering high quality, well priced, authentic Indian food ever since.

The menu is packed full of amazing dishes perfect for the whole family. Worth a mention, as it’s one of customers’ favourites, is the Marathi Kombdi Curry; a flavoursome curry with tender chicken chunks cooked with selected spices and herbs … it’s an elaborate and rich taste that leaves you craving more.
“Delicious food, lovely staff, authentic experience and child friendly.” – Lachlan, customer at Masala Craft
Masala Craft specialises in catering for parties of up to 120 people. What makes them special is their approach to luxurious outdoor catering, which sees them set up a temporary kitchen in the host’s garden or garage – guests love the unique experience!
The team uses tandoori ovens that give dishes that unique charcoal flavour and grill anything to perfection, leaving meat juicy and tender. Another essential cooking utensil are the wok burners that cook ingredients quickly, locking in all the amazing flavours, nutritional value and freshness.
Celebrating in style is an absolute necessity at Masala Craft. On their fifth anniversary, they organised a complimentary dinner for their loyal customers. The night was a huge success with many of their guests leaving in the early hours of the morning, and calling for a repeat for their sixth birthday.

Giving back has always been important to Atul and the team. Amongst many other endeavours, they’ve recently participated in a cultural lunch at Pender's Grove primary school, where they successfully fed 83 hungry school kids, as well as provided well-deserved free meals for the teachers.
On Pender's Grove's recent trivia night, they supplied free entrees and helped raise $1100 for the school's fundraising.
“The local community is very important to us. They provide us the vital business so we love giving back!” – Atul, owner
Whether Masala Craft’s ongoing success is owed to their great attitude or to their amazing dishes – it’s an exemplary business with a bright future ahead!
